No idea how to play ISO's on my psp (too stupid to understand the guides)

Ok I tried to follow all the guides and that to downgrade my 2.71 psp to a 1.5 and I'm stuck since I need some files from a 1.50 psp.. can someone help me pleeeeease? And then I want to upgrade it to a custom firmware like 3.40 oe if that's what it's called..

I suggest you upgrade to Dark_Alex's 3.40 oe-a firmware.It has even better capabilities then the 1.50 and it can do everything the 3.40 can do.You can get 3.40oe-a from http://www.dark-alex.org/
When you have installed it,then all you do is create a folder in the root of the memory stick called ISO and just drag and drop iso/cso games in there.

Ah thanks alot! But don't I have to like downgrade to 1.50 or something to get it to work? And how do I get the 1.50 and 3.30 sony updaters.. and what's an SE/OE version and I don't have a folder GAME150....

Ah! Sorry I didn't read that you had 2.71.I thought you had 1.50.
All you do is get the 3.03 downgrader and just read the readme inside it and you should be ok.

I don't have a folder PSP>GAME150 so what should I do?
And when it says Run oeupdatemaker does that mean I go on my psp and run it? I tried before and put the files inside my PSP>GAME folder and it said corrupt data...

Don't worry about it mate if you need help.It's not always easy.Oh yeah by the way you need an unpatched version(2.00 update) GTA LCS to downgrade.If you have that Private Message me your MSN and I'll run you through the downgrade.

THE ONLY WAY to downgrade is by using the unpatched version of GTA LCS,without it you can't downgrade at all.
Just buy one off ebay,that's what I did and including P&P it cost me 12pounds.

lol I may as well just buy the game I want off ebay. Are you sure that's the ONLY way for me to downgrade? Is there a way to upgrade to something else then downgrade?

this was really unnecesery, you could just update to 2.80 and use the easy 2.80 downgrader(you dont need GTA for this downgrader),its even beter than the 3.03 downgrader,cause the 3.03 downgrader leaves some unnecesery files on it

Right now that's the only way and I'm quite sure that's the only way but you can just double-check to make sure.
You can upgrade without GTA LCS but you can't downgrade and you need to downgrade to 1.50 to upgrad eto a custom firmware eg. 3.40 oe-a.

is that true? why do people keep syaing to go up to 3.03 before downgrading for the 2.71 FWs???
and as got the GTA sitation... just borrow one from a friend, you can give it back after

Ok looks like I'm gonna need some help to upgrade to 2.80... do I install that and then downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to 3.40 oe-a? If so I will need some help since I don't wanna spent another 5-6 hours looking for guides to help a noob like me... naruto and manu ftw :P

its true..and i keep wondering that myself...

try usin the easy instaler ,it will put al needed files into the right directroy,then just folow the step by step quide that comes along with the downgrader

I'm not too sure about how to downgrade many other firmwares but you can't just get any GTA LCS you NEED the unpatched version which has the 2.00 update on it and right now these are quite rare.

ok..just put the 2.80 eboot it the F(your psp)/psp/game/update and then run it from the game menu on your psp
