I have tried a few different methods of trying to get the NTSC-U version of MGS2: Substance to be converted to a DVD5 format... with no luck at all.

I have followed Alkohol's guide to the letter:

I have also used Gnie's tool for doing the same thing. The game starts out at 5.99 gigs and ends up being 2.22 Gigs but I've burned 3 DVD+R's already and none have been successful so I figured I would ask here. I have the slim PS2 and I'm using Swap Magic version 3.8 Coder. No modchip, no hard drive.

Anybody know? Could somebody point me in the right direction? Also I was going to do the 3rd game as well, MGS3: Subsistence but I don't want to waste media on it.

A big thanks to anybody who can help me out, it would be much appreciated indeed.
