I tried using shrink with AnyDVD and still no luck. Looking at AnyDVD log it said it worked.

You'll need to try the new beta of AnyDVD w/ Shrink on this one. Here's a link: http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6142.exe

This beta is supposed to work w/ Shrink on the newer Sony protection which this one has.

There's also DVDFab Decrypter. Rip with that then open those files in Shrink.

I was able to do this movie by using AnyDVD in the background with
DVD Decrypter. (You cannot do this with RipIt4Me). After writing
the file to the hard drive, I then ran FixVTS. The resulting file
was run through Shrink to write and ISO. Then I burned the ISO
file with Imgburn.
The version of AnyDVD I was using was 6136.

I don't know why your setup failed, but I used RipIt4Me to get a backup of Pursuit of Happiness. When you used AnyDVD + DVD Decrypter, did you need to use FixVTS for compliance processing? When I use the AnyDVD + DVD Decrypter method on the heavier copy protection, I find the files work better when processed for compliance with FixVTS.

I do know why the RipIt4Me failed on this particular disc. The press
had one bad spot in it. Neither program would write a file without
an error, but the combination of the two made it possible. This
will work on a bad press that isn't too bad, but will not work on a
terrible one.

Strange, both setups are using DVD Decrypter to do the ripping.
