I downloaded XboxHDM v1.9 to add a larger hard drive to my Xbox.

I followed the tutorials for it, and everything was going smoothly until the last part when it came to locking the hard drive.

I first did the command:
lockhd -a

I kept getting a message that the eeprom was not found and I needed to insert the proper disc. Well I don't know what its talking about since I put the eeprom in the folder I was suppose to.

I thought I would try something else. I used the command:
lockhd -p

For the password I used my HDDLockDisablePassword found in the backup folder I created when softmodding. Upon completing that it said I the master password became "XBOXSCENE"

When I went to try and relock it with a password this time it told me my drive was already locked so I assumed I had done it correctly.

When I plug into my Xbox, I just get a flashing drive button and a get service message on the screen. Now I get this message when the drive is locked and unlocked so I am assuming maybe I did not lock it correctly.

Why won't the 'lockhd -a' command work like its suppose to? What should I expect to see if I have an incompatible hard drive? Its a Western Digital drive.

Please reply with any idea's on why this is not working out.
