Okay... I have been all over and a ga zillion re encoding software suites currently installed..... I need a good clean setup PLEASE! ADVICE????
Running-

Samsung 56' DLP 1080p TV
Samsung 7.1 Dolby Digital
Vista Ultimate
xbox360 as media center Extender
My Movies 2 as interface...

I really Dig.. The My Movies Interface nice and clean and none of that crazy "streaming" crap (tveristy and transcode... blah.. )
Ive been using WinAVI 7 to turn XviD (aXXo) or avi's into wmv's at wmv9 settings.... Not Bad.. But still on that size screen the details start to show... Tried TMPGEnc Express becuz of the HD-WMV encoder... HELLO 16 HOURS of encoding no dice......
I have a ton of XviD movies and dont like the streaming proggies or the output what is going to be the best getup to put those to xbox 360 user friendly WMV's? And any other pointers for the above setup?

On a quick note, I found a few movies encoded by Mausz (1080p WMV) now they look perfect of course on the screen... Umm... But I running VGA with digital sound output .....into my reciever and then HDMI to my TV... is the 360 even capable of pushing 1080p through VGA? or is it only 1080i? Just Curious...

Main Goal to find a solid way to make XviD into HD QUALITY WMVs so I can start storing and viewing...
