i know that when you update ur firmware, it deletes everything and completely rewrites it. but at what % does it finish deleting?

it formats as soon as the upgrade/downgrade starts. then it rewrites the system files.

ok when ever you use an upgrader or downgrader, at the start of that process it automatically formats your flash files. It makes a clean flash to install the firmware you desire.

ok thanks
uh oh! is my psp bricked? i got bored and decided to update to 3.40 but as it was updateing, i accidentally dropped it and THE BATTERY FELL OUT!!, now all i get when i turn it on is the green power light for about 20 secs and a black screen. then nothing.
I bricked my psp again...

Whats to make up? You were upgrading to Sonys own firmware, battery fell out and bam this happened? But when talking to the Sony people don't use words like "brick" instead say stuff like "brokeded" and "green light flashes but nothing else". Don't make it sound like you know a lot about the PSP.
