Hey,

Not sure if any one here is into case mods and general "pimping" out your xbox 360. Recently i've been researching getting some cool mods. Specially looking at getting a nice case with LED kits etc.

Thought it would be cool if others were into this sort of thing to share pictures etc discuss new mods!

.... Hopefully when i get a case mod il post some pics!

I hardly ever go on that site. I used to but that was a while back. But I don't think I will ever be doing it cause I am saving to get me and Elite console so I will like the black finish without any case mods.

@freak thats cool! Out of intrest you do that yourself or did you buy the case?

Also pics for people with slow internet are gonna be hell. Try just linking to the pics if thats ok!!

Isnt that one of the cooling things on one of the pics on your console? Arent those the ones that break the consoles? Just a thought.

@andersg yeah, i got the nyko intercooler! and it works fine! had it 6+ months and hasn't ever fried my box!

@freak im new to this whole modding thing. Is there a special paint i should look out for. Enamel? maybe.. Dunno would be great if you could point me in the right direction.

you can use enamel but i would suggest if you do to top it off with some clear coat. As for recommendations i would probably use krylon fusion spray paint as it is meant to bond to plastic really well.

Cool, definatly gonna paint it some time! Also another question.. sorry about this!! You know the LED kits you get for inside the xbox how do they get there power. Im guessing there not battery so how do you get a molex to them from the xbox 360 PSU?

i bought some el wire and used that and cut the wires and soldered it straight to the board

It Would Be Nice If You Could Change the Case Or Mod it or w.e. without voiding the warranty like some people are hardcore case modders or sumthing but i mean why did they put the warranty sticker where u cant mod the case :( its such a disapointment

it's because it's M$!! if you can mod the case to your liking then m$ can't really honor that because it's done by third person (third party)

i don't know how to say it anyother way! besides this,

if they let you mod the case! there would be no way to honor a warranty!
