Do we have to update to the newest firmware? Im at 5.2, do we have to go to 5.3 to be safe or does it really matter?

The update is going to be on Tuesday 5-8-2007 according to xbox-scene.com, and for those still running Samsung's 5.2 or lower you are urged to update to the new 5.3 firmware. I knew this was going to happen near the Halo beta, anyways I got two xbox 360's, one is a Hitachi and the other is a Samsung MS28, I plan on testing with my Samsung MS28 with 5.3 firmware and play vigorously with copied games after the update just to see if they'll ban me. If they do ban me I'll use my other Hitachi drive and create a new gamer tag etc.

Then don't bitch when/if you get banned. I work 12 hours a day 6 days a week and have a wife & 2 kids but somehow found the time to update my firmware.
