I had to learn the hard way that CloneCD is better than IMGBurn

I've always used DVDDecrypter in the past, and then switched to IMGBurn when the final version of DVDDecrypter became outdated. I've burned 3 DL games with IMGBurn and today I tried to burn three more and each time, my computer froze at about 30-45 seconds into Time Elapsed. That's $6 worth of coasters. I just tried out CloneCD for the first time and so far it's almost done with the first DVD.

Thanks for nothing IMGBurn, CloneCD is the way to go.

I'll burn 360 games with either DVD Decrypter or CloneCD. For me they both pretty much perfectly. I never used ImgBurn for 360 games, but I hear plenty do with no problems.

I have been using CloneCD for like 5+ years and although it is not updated I still trust it 100%.

I'd not had a Coaster and then all of a sudden, 3 $2 coasters, I loved IMGBurn, but I can't trust it after that.

Maybe it's just bad media? can always happen...they always say not 1 spindle is the same. It's more likely the media to blame than the program you're burning with. Because before it didn't fail right? The burningap is something you didn't change, however the media changes each time with each disk.

I tried 3 different isos with IMGBurn, with a reboot in between each try (since it froze my computer each time). Then I burned the same 3 isos successfully in a row.

These were on Verbatim DVD+R DL from a 10 pack spindle burned at 2.4x on a 112D with all other programs closed on a comp with 3.0GHz and 2.5GB RAM.

It was IMGBurn.

i have burned many many games with imgburn and ritek ridata disk with a very low percent coasters.
no more than one or two coasters per 100 dvd dl disks.
