omgcmon, should work great without any problems hooking it up between the 360 and the router. Also, if you are using a wireless game adapter, connect it between the adapter and the 360 using a RJ45 coupler (which can be found at Radio Shack). I got both my coupler and lag switch from ebay (two different sellers though). The wireless way will give you a much longer lag time too.
