I have been somewhat out of the loop lately and now I see that I am way behind the updates. I see that there is an upgrader from 3.30 to 3.40 but is there a way to upgrade from 3.03 OE-B? I really prefer not to brick my PSP which is why I am asking this.

Best place to find insallers. All work 100% and are 100% safe. I personally downgraded/upgraded 5 PSP's with his files.

I looked at the updater and it reads that it is for 3.30>>>3.40.
I have 3.03. Is there a way for me to upgrade or downgrade from 3.03 to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.40?

I'm pretty sure you can just use 3.40 upgrade on any custom firmware. Read this http://calohacks.110mb.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=102

But if you want to be safe I uploaded all you need to goto 1.5 then up to 3.40oe-A just use the recovery first then the 3.40oeA upgrade. Both have readme files be sure to do that. Also I always plug in my ac adapter during any up/down grade not just the suggested 75% battery. Rather be safe than sorry.
