Hi
samsung drive: tried the "rubber band" mod to help loading of games but has back fired. the band must have beem a bit too wide & caused a noise when loading a game.removed band but now the laser lense moves up & down twice and the disc rotates half turn then stops. i can move the laser on the slide and turn the unit on, the laser returns to the center but will not read discs. tried new laser just in case but no luck. the laser does not seen to move on the slides when looking for the disc. any ideas, possible fuse blown?
i have tried a friends dvd drive & works ok. must be something on the drive. no red lights on the front
