Working 3.03 Updater..HELP PLEASE!

I've been looking for a 'working' 3.03 updater, i have 2.81 but the first step is getting to 3.03---only every updater i've been able to find says "Corrupted Data" on my PSP when i try to open it...im saving them in the right spot....
if anyone can help PLease Let me know! Thanks.

hmm ok look on noobz.eu and find the flash cleaner it could help
second, tell us the EXACT directory of the update

i've been putting the updates in PSP/GAME/UPDATE/'then my file'
all caps on the UPDATE folder....im checking noobz.eu i'll b back and let u know..

yeah thats the qj.net link, it dosnt work for me, just a corrupted file :(

try getting a game with 3.03 update on it.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

dude make sure you rename the eboot...sometimes it will have a bunch of numbers in front of it so rename it to EBOOT.PBP. And if that dosn't work try getting it off dl.qj.net

Just like Altus said you must change the name of the update file to EBOOT.PBP or UPDATE.PBP or otherwise it wont work.I suggest before you start doing something get a walkthru tutorial and follow that exactly as it is written.I had to do the same thing just like you..upgrade to 3.03-downgrade to 1.5 and then install 3.03 oe-c and just used a guide and everything went smooth.
Good Luck and take your time doing this so you don't make a error and brick.

And there is a lot of morons out there cause bricking happens.When i said be cautious i meant do the downgrade process without any distractions around you like kids,pets and whatnot and make sure ac adapter is plugged in and the battery life is good as well.Little things like this could cause a brick,just browse various psp forums and read there all the stupid mistakes people have made while flashing their psp's.

hey i've read alot of walkthroughs, but i've never heard of changing the file-name, im getting ready to try it, i appreciate the help though....the worst part about this is that i had 1.5 a while back and my cousin popped in Bust A Move and was "nice enough" to upgrade my PSP for me :(
