well i messed up flashing ms ms25 samsung drive and now it reads every disc as a dvd.
i dont have the orig.bin or anyhthing.
is there any way to like set back to factory defaults or should i try flashing it again or what?
is there any website i can go to and download the original ms25 firmware?

As long as you have your original KEY, then you can re-flash. Just use xtreme 5.3 and select the "report as MS25" when prompted. If you have a VIA card you don't need to use the Enable 0800 disc.

Do a dump of your current firmware.
mtkflash r /m /sata messedup.bin
Open this file in Windows with Firmware Toolbox 3
If you have a key that looks real and not FFFFF or 000000, then you're ok. If not, you're screwed.

Another simple way to find out if your key is screwed is if it won't play any original or backed up games but WILL play a DVD Movie, then your key is wrong.

when ever i put an original game in it, it says please insert this into an xbox 360.
then i exit to the dashboard and it says "play DVD" when its a game!
so i think its real messed up.

ur wrong!! u can dump u current firmware get the security key number out and put it in another original and u have ur own original!
nvm i might be wrong if the person flashed it with a xtreme firmware without the key in the first place. PAPERWEIGHT, dang that suxs. hopefully its not

tryed reflashing and that didnt work.
i tryed to read the firmware and it said something about orig.bin and 256 kb.
how do you dump the firmware?

Ps2 already mentioned how to dump your firmware
Boot into dos with your with your boot disk & type
mtkflash r /m /sata messedup.bin (or whatever you want to call your dodgy bin file)
if he doesnt have the original key in the firmware then he's pretty much screwed :-( hope not.

ok i just checked my usb drive that i used to flash my firmware and i entered the Backup/*******/***** and in there were to files. ORIG.BIN and XTREMEFW.BIN i dont think this is right because i did not get to read my firmware or anything. Im confused now.
