i have two files that i want to burn to a dvd but unfortunately the two mpeg's together are 5.2 gb and dvd's only hold 4.7. are there any larger dvd's out there, or is there a program that i could get that would possibly shrink those two files or convert them to one in order to fir them both on one dvd?

In situations like this, I load the 5.2Gb MPEG2 file and burn it to a DVD folder. You get a bunch of IFO and BUP files. Then you read these files with DVDShrink and there you can shrink to 4.36GB and get another VIDEO_TS folder. You then burn this folder.

Yep DVD Shrink is best option, also in case you are interested, phillips have made a dual layer dvd+r now which means it will hold about 8.6gb and still be compatible with DVD players. Oh and also, this question belongs in a DVD-R forum so I have moved it!
