hey all. Bit confused and advice would be great. Want to backup my xbox 360 collection of games so done the research, bought a Samsung SH-D162C with the Kroen 0.81 firmware and d/l xbox backup creator 2.3 and schtrom 360 3.1. The drive is recognised as a slave drive by both programs and windows ok. Easy creator says media type DVD-ROM 5.32 MB with brian Lara Cricket. Hit start 'unable to determine the current visible partition'. Go to 'unlock drive' it then comes up as 6.81GB but hit start and same error message. Alloptions are correct from what i can see and 'XDVDFS Dump' on the drive tools brings a .txt file with all the cricket team image files etc.
Use Schtom 360 dvd-rom type says - E:TSSTcorpDVD-ROM SH-D162C Ts04 KREON V0.81. hit extract - 'No valid XBOX disc in drive'.
Bit new to this and may have overlooked something simple. The supplier was a mod supplier who said it would be sent pre-flashed but if i explore the disc when it is inserted it thinks its a DVD. Any advice would be great, thanks.

I'd use 2.4 as 2.5 has a bug that says all games have questionable video partician data. But they work none-the-less with 2.5 as 2.4

either will work fine but i have no problems at all with 2.5.0.230

and actually 2.5 can do quite a few more games
