Trying to run MLB 07 Demo on 3.10 FW

I am trying to run the MLB 07 demo on my 3.10 PSP but can't because the firmware is too low. I know there is some way to hex edit demos to make them run properly, but could only find forum topics by people who already knew what was going on. I did about 20 minutes of Googling and couldn't find anything, does anyone know and is willing to share?
