I looked on the back of the dvd and it didn't say whether it was a DL or SL disk.
"but if you are using dvdFab and you choose the main movie only option then after the rip you should see how big the ISO or Folder is, if it is over like 4.32 GB you have to use shrink".

How do I tell how big the folder is? The ISO file says (4,252,752 kb). How many GB's is that? I'm such a newbie at these things! Not sure what IMO means.

Your fine essay55 - that file is 4.05 gig.

Here's a great conversion site - link.

Change DVDFab to do file mode. Then when you right click on the folder it will show in gb's.
In DVDFab next to target click the icon that looks like a folder - pick the folder you want to save it in and it will rip in file mode.
Easier in this format to run FixVTS, VobBlanker etc and edit if needed in Shrink.

We shall go to the end,we shall fight in France,we shall fight on the seas and oceans,we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air,we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,we shall fight on the beaches,we shall fight on the landing grounds,we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,we shall fight in the hills;we shall never surrender

Not sure what happened with the previuos post. It may be my imagination but I believe I ripped an ISO file and a Video TS file at the same time by using DVD Decrypter. Is this possible?

Sorry essay, but that isn't possible. You can only rip one way...either a folder in file mode or an ISO in ISO read mode.

It certainly is. I have discovered how to rip in ISO or file mode. Do you have a preference?

my preference is File Mode, only because if you need to use VobBlanker or fixvts they have to be in File Mode
