URGENT! 3.40OE firmware update help!

Hey guys, I'm a noob to PSP custom firmware... I was able to successfully downgrade it to 1.50, now I'm updating it to 3.40OE.

However, after the DATA.DXAR creation step (it says checksum is correct), when I start doing the firmware update, it says something like "opening dxar file" during the upgrade process, and shuts down the PSP right after... Checking the system information section, it still says 1.50, I don't know what to do now. I've tried this 3 times already (completely remove everything in my memory stick, copy over 1.50 and 3.40 official firmware update, create custom update, run the dxar file).

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Did you move the DATA.DXAR you created to the 340oeflasher folder?
