I have a PsP version 2.82 and I want to play downloaded games.
Can anyone show me step by step what to do?


By the way, what is meant by 'brick'?

The easiest way is to upgrade to an OE firmware.

To do that, you will need to upgrade to sony's 3.03 firmware. Get an unpatched version of gta: liberty city story game. Get a 3.03-1.5 downgrader for your motherboard type. When you are on 1.5, install any OE firmware. You will find instructions in all the readme files.

Edit:
Brick is when your psp cannot boot up, and is only as good as a "brick".
And brick is what will happen to your psp if you don't read the instruction carefully and do stupid crap.

Why do I need GTA? Where specifically can I find 3.03 firmware upgrade and 1.50 downgrade?
