i created an iso image from my def jam icon and burned it using clone cd and image burner but my modded xbox 360 wont read it. what program do i need to use to remove the security file or what am i doing wrong?

i ordered the samsung drive but while i'm waiting i got it from newsgroups but the info tag stated it was
Pre Patched SS with included security files so i burned it using clone cd and imgburn but the x360 couldn't read it.i feel like it's a step that i'm missing but i do have xbox back up creator i don't think i reads images already created.

If you have a Samsung drive with fairly new firmware you do not have to worry if it is stealth patched. The firmware for the drive will do it.

I make all my back ups with Xbox Backup Creator V2.4 (yes i know there is a 2.5 but it has some issues)

1. put your disc in your Samsung drive (flash with Kreon firmware)
and let it spin for a bit until the PC recognizes it
2. Go to tools tab on XBC and click "unlock drive"
3. Go to read tab and make the ISO. This method automatically makes a stealth back up.

BURNING:
1. Get and install IMGburn V2.1 (again i know there are newer versions but why switch when this one works every time)
2. Open it and manually set the layer break:
tools-->settings-->write-->layer break. Check user specified and set it to 1913760. Click ok and burn as normal. This is only necessary the first time burning a 360 game
3. load the ISO file and burn at 4X on a Verbatim 2x to 6x DVD

that should do it.

it is possible, but they really are not a good brand of media for backing up games. Verbatim is the top choice for most people whoc know about backing up games.
