Halo 3 beta w/out crackdown

I've heard that people can get the Halo 3 beta without crackdown,or by just using it for the original download. Is this true?

If so, does anyone have instructions or a crack available?

I do not think so. Unless you got an invite from Microsoft, Crackdown was the only method i knew of that you could get the Halo 3 Beta. And i thought that to play it you had to have the Crackdown disk in the 360.

LOL at the idea of a crack for 360. the only "crack" there is, is that you can use a burned game to get the beta lol.

could it be that the title of the said game to access the download is actually called "CRACKDOWN"....

think about it......

all this talk of modded boxes not working on live after grabbing the beta...

a CRACKDOWN on mods maybe?

yes coincidence, he has been working on it since before the Halo 3 beta update came out. newer games can cause E66 if you dont update before you flash. all he has to do is reflash orig.bin and then flash whatever extreme frmware he wants.
