We were totally in the same boat on that one. I flashed multi-times, I always played releases before they came out and I didn't check the games for stealth patching and that 360 was banned. Some say bans are sporadic, but I'm not buying that. Most unbanned are Samsung users. I just went on from there following some rules that made sense. I know I'm not out of the water, but I am feeling fairly confident. I've seen others who flashed new 360s in the last 5 days and got banned. Yet, I'm still going strong on Live.

memnock u r fine if u get banned now then we all r screwed because thats seems the smartest way to play on xbl, honestly all 5 of my friends are doing what i said and all are fine, if some1 flashed and did everything i said and still got band then they did something wrong maybe dont have a sammy, maybe played online or just went online and didnt play but still will went online maybe is a mistake without the sammy flashed dont go online at all without proper flash and flash 1 time thats it no more flash. im flashing with the extreme online 1 time i dont care if the new version makes money come out my ass i will flash 1 time n 1 time only

im gonna buy another 360 on friday my question is, is the drive on the box of the 360 if not how do i get a sammy drive
i may have to keep buying bringing it back until i get sammy?

To everyone I've seem to have pissed off:
I'm not saying what you do isn't working for you. I'm glad it is. But I'm just telling you guys that I've flashed about 300 or so 360's now. I've done this as a side thing since we could flash the 360. I've only bricked one 360 and that was a bad samread/samhack method when it first came out so please I can assure you that my bro bought a sealed 360 and brought it to my house. I flashed it with the VIA bad flash method on my PC with MY 360 as a power source. He only got his games from me, which were all stealth patched. The only games I ever provided for him were after release date anyway. He only plugged in his 360 twice to the network. Once to make a gamertag/live account and then to play me on FNR3, which I said was stealth patched. He then tried to sign on live after I told him the banhammer was dropping. No game in drive, banned.
I don't mean to flame anyone on here so if I have flamed you I'm sorry. I sit here and read threads daily from Afterdawn, X-box scene, xbox-hacker.net it's basically what I spend my free time doing..
I've read of alot of other people from these sites get banned doing what you guys are.. I personally wouldn't get on live with a modded console period until the new FW comes out.
I know why I got banned. I played people via live 3 weeks early on Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007 and countless other games as well. I deserve my ban that's why I'm saving for an elite. If it's a 0079FK and I CAN'T mod it, I won't be tempted to.

lol at menaces idea to switch consoles. i want to try playing forza online early but i cant find it anywhere because i dont have a blackcats account. if anyone can tell me a site to get it besides blackcats that has the torrent then i can prove or disprove the fact that pre release dates ban you.

I have 10 black-cats invites, but unless you have a PAL or NTSC/J machine, you can't play.
Region Locked unfortunately for me and my USA box.

Yeah I know. If I get banned then it's obvious there is no way to be safe now. If that happens I'll wait until ixtreme and put it on another 360. If that eventually gets banned I'll wave to white flag. Hopefully I got it right this time and won't have to worry about buying another 360 for myself.

Thanx for the link but there's a few people on here (including myself) who will recognise the info provided within it. I've done a lot of reading as have many others. Basically the suggestion is install Ixtreme firmware then telephone MS and query why you have been banned, they rescan your console and find no reason for your ban and then unban your console. Myself and a few others have agreed that this is probably an unrealistic solution. 1,000's of users installing ixtreme then phoning MS and query why they have been banned. MS aren't that stupid to fall for it surely....

aren't samsung drives patching all games stealth anyways?
second lets kind of give up on finding out because im now thinking they have a update in the spring update that dumps and scans or just scans the firmware and then they know for sure and wipe you out. only way to confirm anything is to get a M$ person drunk and talking!

lets dont give up...i havent been banned, meaning something must be different in my console than everyone elses. im not sure what it is but something is different about mine and i intend to find out what it is.

What about people who have modded 360s but haven't got banned yet? I just kept my 360 unplugged from the internet so I'm not banned. So i guess i never go on live again!!?

dude wait for the iextreme then switch firmware check to see if all yours games have stealth if u cannot check to see if its stealth just throw them away,also this still might not get u free because micro may already have u on there list stay offline for nowwwwwwwww

So iXtreme is going to be way better for people who haven't got their 360 banned yet right? I don't think it is going to work for already banned consoles because they gotta complain to Microsoft and Microsoft isnt gonna unbann all those banned 360s. I don't think iXtreme is actually going to be a good fix for already banned 360s but maybe only for ones that haven't been banned yet. The scene isn't looking good so far for people who got their 360s banned.
