Well bro, I look at it this way. I've been modding consoles for the purpose of playing burnt games since the PS1 (with CD's) and breaking off the chip so the Japanese Mario Bros. 3 would work in my NES and after all these years I've found that I don't enjoy the games like I used to. Part of this reason is because the thrill of going out and buying an anticipated game is gone. Now I can just download and burn. It has its benefits yeah, but I really need to show these 2 sons I have that it's better to do things the right way.
Everything I do in life is all legit. I work 12 hour days, 6 days a week to support my wife & kids. I pay all my bills on time. I have college funds started for the little ones. I owe no credit card debt. Actually the only VISA I have is a reloadable VISA ;)
I just know this much. I tend to enjoy the games more and play them longer when I purchase them.
Good points. It's something I'll have to deal with when my daughter gets older. I'm trying my best to be the upstanding citizen myself. One the flipside though, I know life is hard and rarely fair. Taking that into consideration I certainly don't see anything wrong with cutting a corner here and there to get ahead as long as you aren't really hurting anyone in the big picture of things. Pretty much all parents do some things they wouldn't want their children doing.
One the other end of thing, my trill in gaming has all gone to classic gaming and building my collections in the classic and rare cart base systems. It used to always burn me up when I'd buy a new "curret gen" game for $50 and set it for less than $20 a year later.

just updated to ix10 and we will see if this does any good as far as keeping me unbanned, i flashed by the method of leaving my video cable unplugged so the cpu doesnt power up so we will see if it works.

im only 17, but a few months ago, i realised playing on my ps2 eith swapmagic had becom boring.
at that time i had also gotten a job. so i threw my swapmagic discs away and started to buy my games. i bought ten of my favourite, and i really had been playing them to death. i love them, and enjoy them.
i am now doing the same for my pc, but my psp and nds still have backups on them.
i knew how easy it was to hack the xbox 360, so i have refraned from geting that, but now with the MS bans, i will get it.
also, with the new wii mobos, that prevent current chips from working, i will hopefully get them when they hit england.
and with the ps3 being unhackable atm, i might get that soon, and will be updating to the newest FW everytime.
im looking at a mainly backup free gaming now, but i think handhelds should alow me to hold alll my games at once, so ill kepp them ;)

Not sure if you were asking me or not. But here is my set up.
MS28 Samsung with Xtreme 5.2 firmware. Flashed only once right out of the box. The game i play online is stealth patched (RB6 Vegas) but i have played a non-stealth back up online, before all of this became a problem (DOA4). There have been both back up's and originals in my system. And some were stealth while others were not. Again all before this banning started. But they were in just long enough to test them and see if they worked and then that was it.
Only other game i play really is Tiger Woods 07 which i do not play online and it is stealth as well.

OK.. need some advice... still not banned as of today...
HITACHI V78 modded w/ FW Toolbox 3.1b... so the question I have is... when the new firmware comes out for Hitachi should I upgrade? Or will this throw a flag up to M$ that I changed my Firmware?

heres some data i figured id add to the rest... ive only used original games to make backups with a samsung shd162c(Korean f/w) and bunt them on pioneer111d(1.29), using verbs, ive ran 20+ backups since the update and ive been playing the Halo 3 demo since release. my DVD drive is a MS28 F/w is xtreme 5.2 may 30th still no banned

hey just to add a bit... i have ms28 with the new ixreme 1.0 just flashed about 5 hours ago.... Works great and even playing online.... i m playing all complete back ups from the disk just like the other guy said and am not downloading.. Hope this any help to u guys out there :)

ohhh just a quick question???? who else is burning crackdown?? when i got to burn (Xbox backup creator) i put in the crack down works untill its about ready to rip on to my comp.. than is says something about a wrong partion or something?? Im not for sure on how to fix that... Is there any other program u boys are using out there for crackdown?? Plez reply.. thanks

im pretty sure crackdown requiresa special method to copy it so check the bottom of this tut and it should tell you how. here

well it looks like im banned.
I didnt have the internet plugged in or usb from the adapter plugged in for this - i havent been on live in 3 weeks now; i unplugged it when the bannings started on the first day.
EDIT: It only stops at ICMP when it runs the test.
Any Tips what i should do to get me back on live or i need another 360?
I got this code -

Y: 0000 - 0000
Z: 0000 - 0000

lol i was playing live like hell a couple of days back about a week i think,im out of town for a couple of days and i have my 360 wid me ive played stealth and non stealth backups and still wasnt baned the only thing that is bothering me right now is playing the game before release dates offline i got the comand and conquer backup with me and i played it yesterday,my question is im not o live for a couple of days so automaticaly my 360z clock is set back to some date in 2005 and all my c&c saves achievements came with that date so does that make me apear on banlist when ill b online in a few days.and guys i know is a stupid question lol.peace
