I ran the tests again; i didnt see the banned thing in the xbox live or nat more info; i found it under the "USB Wireless Adapter" More Info and it says that. (your console has been banned blah blah) from there.

guys i have the iextreme i called ms and told them i was wrongly banned they told me to send in my box i guess im realy realy screwed ?

lol your not screwed, just laughed at, you know that they knew people were going to do this. send them the console and if they tell you that you have to pay for them to fix it tell them to send it back, they may not tell you you have to pay, some have gotten around it before.

dont tell them anything, they usually dont scan them for firmwares or anything they just check to see if its been opened and they may not check to see, just send it to them and if they contact you telling you that you have to pay to fix it then tell them you want it back unrepaired.

you might get lucky, i have heard a few stories of people getting favors from ms. never happened to me because my stuff hasnt had to be sent in yet.

ur safe as long as it isn't modded. people are saying to format the hd! but if you don't mod it they shouldn't ban you! if you plan on going ixtreme there is still a risk and then you should defentely format hd to avoid suspicion.

im going iextreme dude the hd was on a ban 360 i want to put it on 299$ 360 i believe its the core so how do i reformat and will i lose anything when i do it

put it on your old xbox and go to the system blade then go to memory and select the drive then format it, and yes you will lose everything but its worth it if it takes the suspicion off your xbox.

They're only banning the console, your account/gamertag is accessible you just need to use an unbanned console. If you miss Xbox live that much then get an unmodded console and leave it unmodded. You'll never get banned that way.

im pretty sure crackdown requiresa special method to copy it so check the bottom of this tut and it should tell you how. here
no there is no special way of backing up crackdown,using the kreon flashed samsung drive,xbox back up creator and imgburn,however i did come accross something very strange when backing up this game.it looks like a M$ # that may of caused all this banning hassle

Just so you know this before you move on. If you send in your Xbox to MS for repair there is a good chance that you will not even get the same 360 back. They are know for just sending you out one that they have already refurbished. So you may get another modded system and you may not. There is really no telling what you will get back.
So if you are doing this just to get back on Live i am not sure it is such a great idea.

hey lol a rookie question but i just wanna be safe... How do tell if ure iso is stealth or not. If not wut program do u use to fix it???? i never download xbox360 games i only use games i have.... So in that case i use XBC... So does that mean its stealth than???? updated my firmware on my xbox to the new firmware iextreme 1.0 and that only plays burned stealth games.. and it happens to play all my games. SO with that stated is all my games stealth than since i use xbc or does it mean that my firmware isnt working???? plezz respond!!! thanks

If you are using something like Xbox Back Creator V2.4 and the Samsung drive flash with Kreon firmware then they should all be stealth because it does that automatically.

02/05/07 No bad as of yet. Sammy drive, no idea which firmware. Just played it safe and kept to playing Forza 2 offline till the 8th when its released. It worries me that FOrza 2 has an update available already before its release? M$ trick to catch us out?

That is not true, people who preordered Forza were able to pick up their copy the end of last month. So it is not before the release date at all.

I haven't been banned and I've been running Maximus Garyopa XTRM Fw 2.3 stealth rev. 2 this whole time. I played plenty of backups online until the Halo3 beta came out. I haven't played any backups online since then but I have been playing the Halo 3 beta to death on an original copy of crackdown, and playing backups with the ethernet cord unplugded. It feels as if I was totally unnaffected and I'm thinkig about trying to play backups online again. is it possible that my xbox was completely unnaffected because I'm using a old old hitachi drive (from release day)
