Hmm, it seems like I'm banned too (kept my networkcable unplugged from the day the bannings started till now)
so if I use my HD on another machine and format it, I will lose all my saves but keep my achievements when I retrieve my account online?

yeah, once you gain the score from an achievement you keep that score.

Im debating if i should go ahead and get me a core system for now and put my hard drive on that console and use it.
and keep my "modded" Premium Banned 360 for other purposes.

That's my plan as well. Or sell the banned 360 and all the backups and go legit.

oh poo, just run mulleter to check all my games for stealth patching as never took the time to check before. All but 2 are stealth patched so Im jusnt not even going to grace the drive with those DVDs anymore just to be safe.
However....
What does concern me is that DOA4 is one of the non stealth games and has been played offline, once only. No achievements have been attained but it still registers that the games been played in my profile.
Is this going to be a problem?

i played nothing but crackdown for a solid week trying to get some good achievements and never got banned. was a backup that wasnt stealth patched at all.

Sammy drive but no idea about which firmware it was flashed with as I bought the box 2nd hand (had never been on live before).
Is there any way to tell?

not unless you want to retrieve the firmware off of it, best thing to do is to just make sure you dont play anything thats not stealth patched. if you havent been banned yet it doesnt mean your safe, but you may not get banned if your lucky.

thanks. As I said, trying to spay as safe as possible, so not going online till Uk release date (with Forza that is) otherwise will stick out like a sore thumb. Also giving crackdown and Halo 3 a miss completely for now.. :)

long story short im banned with ixtreme
i went to my home town for a couple of weeks and took my 360 with me didnt have gud internet there so only played crackdown and c&c for 2 weeks i changed its firmware from 5.2b to ixtreme.went back aftere two weeks tried to conect and boom i was banned f... u microsoft before that it was going strong.
u think it finished here it just started a war between me and microsoft i had 2 more 360 one had this f....ng open tray problem and other showed me 3 red lights f... u again microsoft i swear both were played only offline never taken to live i had all 3 samsung ms28 in them i took the one with the open tray prob took it to a pro changed the baned consolez drive with it and rolled its firmware back to original yeah u read it right ORIGINAL i didnt have an original game so i took it back home conect it with live and it worked i started downloading dirt demo with nothing in the tray and after 5 minutes disconected i was like what the .... is this.the third one which gave me 3 red lights was repaired a couple of days back but i didnt pick it from the shop cause the guy was asking 3000 bucks around 50 dollars in america i caled him tell him im coming for my 360 gave him the money and changed the firmware from xtreme 3.2 to ixtreme again got home had no hope of not geting baned tried to go live went live tried to play a Gears of War stealthed patched backup after half an hour they banned me.screw u microsoft what should i do kill my self or kill bill gates.im so screwed the only thing i loved after my girl friend was xbox live and those sory sons of ........ took it away

yo dude i cant fully understand ur post but i tell people all the time that when u change firmware theres a chance u will get bann
