WTF I get an error when I place my DVDdl in the drive.

I made a backup copy from a friends Dead Rising game.

When I place it in the drive (already cracked to play backups) I get a "cannot read disc" error. It says I should clean the disc with a cloth or something.

So, what should I do? What are some of the reasons this happens?

Hm... I'm not really sure. I bought the '360 in the US. And a friend took the DVD Drive out and connected to a PC; he then proceeded to run a program. I'm guessing he cracked some sort of "code" to be able to play backup games.

I heard something about not being able to play Japanese games on an American drive. Is there some truth to this?
