so the chips are like 100% safe right for live since they like auto turn off? or should it have a manual switch?
second would you get the NME 360, ALL 360, XENO 360, NME 1.2.

Honestly, I'd feel safer with a manual shut off switch. That way you know it's off. But that's just me. One thing you might want to do is check out the board in your dvd drive first. Unless you've got an older machine, chances are good it'll be covered with resin. MS uses it to combat chips.

As for which chip, it'd be easier to check out the mfg's site for info instead of trying to get second hand knowledge from the (very few) chip users here on AD.

Also, installing one of the chips is not for beginners. The big pictures of the solder points can be quite deceiving.

So, you may be looking at:
- buying the chip
- buying the equipment to install it
- or paying to have it installed
- worring if/when it'll be detectable

which one is better, the Globe360 or the Nme360? I just want a modchip that will turn off when i play original games on live, and on when i play backed up games.
