playing iso's witthout org umd in slot

picking up[ my psp tomorrow and wondered is it possible to play the iso from memory stick without having a umd disc in the psp...

so many firmwares about now i'm all confused

no u need to install 3.40 OE-A fireware...its the latest custom fireware for hackers.....u need downgrade ur psp to 1.5 if u want to install this( theres only few psps u can do this others wont allow u to do this)...when u buy ur psp theres a trick which u can use to identify wat version ur psp is without opening the box...go here u will find it in the middle of the page>>> PSP Motherboard Compatibility Guide (Full) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/454995

Why does it matter? Certain games require no umd but theres needs to be one in so the PSP thinks its playing the actual game, though it really is playing the .ISO. Also you need 3.03 or lower firmware to downgrade your PSP.
