Will cost around $40, as cheap as it get unless you buy a modchip and solder it yourself....which i dont recommed unless you have solid skills. If you are too cheap to buy a fliptop, you can use the tape and tissue method which also works, google it.
More expensive but a good modchip (Crystal Chip V2.0, Matrix Infinity or DMS4 Pro SE) installed is an all around better mod in every way. And has a few very distinct advantages over Swap Magic.
No direspect to svtstang or stiemy cuz they are great and help many people.
I think a mem card exploit would be cheaper and you can make your own fliptop on a fat PS2 and can mod a slims case easily without buying a thing. I have done both.
I prefer cogswap or cdloader over Swap Magic. It is just that I always see issues with games and SM. They need patched or rebuilt with mem card exploit I just burn and play except DVD9 which even SM and chip users need to rebuild. It is more of a pain in the a$$ to play your backups you have to make 2 disc swaps, but once you do it a few times it's no big deal unless your indecisive and have to switch games every 5 minutes.
A mod chip is easily the best solution, but if you don't want or don't have a lot of money to spend on this then a chip is out unless you can solder very well. This is why I don't have a mod chip, 1 wife,2 kids, 3 dogs,1 cat, a house, no solder skills = no chip for me:(
no problem at all ovrfiendx, i completely skipped over memory card exploits. If you want information on exploits this is a great site to get it.
