ok downgraded firmware to 1.5 from 2.5, put dev hook 0.52 on it, other games tried tested such as virtual tennis 3/ vice cities works fine, but when i load up f1 and go to choose my race , screen goes white for ages? anyone know why? Thank you

just upgrade to 3.40oe-a
use this
http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads/340oeEasy.exe Right-Click, Save Target As...
u dont need to create the dxar file
just install dont be scared
