So i just built a new computer and put vista ultimate on it, and wow do i hate it. The only nice thing about it is the way it looks. The warning messages are anoying, setting up a network on it is next to impossible (and keeping it working), most programs that say they work on vista give you stupid little problems like aol. And there are still so many bugs in vista, I dont know why they released it so early.

Anyone else hate vista?

the warning messages you are talking about can be turned off in the matter of seconds. i didnt have a problem setting up a network on mine when i did it. and if you are talking about aol messenger, it works perfectly fine on my vista ultimate machine. but if you are talking about aol internet then i dont know what to tell you other than aol is a rip off and sucks, lol.

how can i stop the warning messages, and also does you sleep/hibernate work? mine leaves me sleeping/hibernating with nothing to do by press the reset button on the case

I am getting a Vista ultimate machine on friday so I will post back if I Have problems. I am also getting MAC OS X Tiger MacBook on friday so I will let you know which one I like better.

umm to answer the question on how to stop the security questions...if memory serves me correct, you need to go to start, control pannel, then i think security, and then there should be an option of turning it on or off. ill check when i get home and can use my desktop to make sure and repost tomorrow if i am incorrect, but its something along those guidlines, i know you have to go through control pannel, and security part then. and not sure about the sleep/hibernate function, mine is in the normal mode 24/7, the only thing that sleeps and hibernates is my laptop when im going from the house to town, and its running xp on it.
