Can I transfer my flashed drive to a new 360?

If my xbox craps out on me for the third time (red ring of death),and I have to buy a new one, can I take my flashed Hitatchi drive out of the junked one and put it in any new xbox?

you have to have the orig.bin for the console your putting it in and you have to have the key from that xbox to make it work. same as flashing it originally except you have to flash the firmware from the new xbox to the old dvd drive.

why would you want to?
just flash the new one.
you can put the old one in but you got to flash it to work so just flash the new one.
