I've already posted with this query once but with no replies so i thought i'd try again.
I've got a PSP with FW 3.40oe-a. I create all the relevant folder all spelled correctly on my Memoryt stick and drop the video file in the folder but in the XMB the video does not show. However when i was using the official Sony 2.82 FW they played fine.
What Do I Do???
Has anyone else had the same problem????

The PSP DOES NOT play AVI, WMV, MPEG, or any other Windows format videos. It only plays MP4 and you're probably saving it to the wrong folder. Its suppose to be saved in the MP_ROOT ->100MNV01 folder.
PSP >TA-082 2.71>1.5>2.0>1.5>3.03 oe-a>3.03 oe-c>3.10 oe-a>3.40 oe-a

Well, one thing that comes to my mind is that psp has a aspect ratio limitation, the XxY had to fit or it cant play....
I use super and have the same setup as you do; works for me.
check out this link for the program download link and instructions

Ok, Getting somewhere now i suppose. Downloaded the latest version of Super and installed it. I chose the Sony PSP option and chose MPEG-4 format to convert to. I placed the converted file into the PSP and now its saying Unsupported Data.
Any Thoughts????
Cheers

Best just to go over the instruction again in the link, check if you missed anything, and make sure you copy it in to the correct folder on you psp...
make sure you copy the file in to the \101ANV01\ folder... and you can name it any number combination just as long as it has 5 digits in the end, example = MAQ10004.mp4

you dont need to put them in that MP_ROOT folder anymore, you can just use the VIDEO folder in the root of your memory stick now for .mp4 files
also, you could try PSPlayerMT, it plays different extentions such as .avi .mpg etc... but, remember as someone else said they have to be lower than a certain resolution.

Do they still have to be named in the same fashion?
