Help my R button stop working

hi guys, well what can i say, iwas playing pro evo 6 and my player wasnt running fast even though i had R pushed but then i realised that it stop working for some reason i made sure that i was right n tried it on difo games n that was the probelem the R button doesnt seem to respond

And yeh i am at 1.5 now and i was thinking to upgrade to 3.40 oe-a will the R button matter in that e.g. for recovery mode or something?

probably got stuck. Open it up and clean it.

And recovery does need R button.
