Hello everyone,

I have opened this thread to find out what afterdawn users think of good Video Editing applications, there currently are.

I am looking to capture a large amount of home video from a Digital Camcorder, and will be editing several hours of footage and would like to know which program to acquire.

Soooo u thought it would be good to know:

What Software have people used and what they think,
Pros and Cons, (which applications offer nest features, etc)
Any recommendations?

I have looked at various sites(inc CNET,PCmag) and other threads and come to the conclusion that, the top list includes:

Cyberlink PowerDirector 6
Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 Suite
Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0
Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus

what do you think of these? (i am being swayed to Adobe)

any help would be greatly appreciated, and hopefully this thread will be of use to many users.

I've had that answer from a few people, I initially thought of this to but was sceptical due to a few reviews.

EDIT: I have just discovered a predicament, my CPU does not support SSE2, which Adobe needs, so i suppose that means it will not work, :(

any suggestions.
