How do i unlock my US bought Nokia 6010

Hi,

International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI Number) is 010715009384579 and the handset is Nokia 6010.

I picked this from USA and i was using Star Com services.

Now I am in india and when i try to use my india SIM card, it asks for phone restriction code...

Please help.

The network do you mean Suncom? also enter *#06# into your phone for the correct IMEI

Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Code error", don't try again!!

Need to unlock the phone restrictions so that I can use the same in India.
