in order for your xbox 360 to use your computers wirless internet your need to use internet connection sahring.
clcik on the wireless option under network conections.
then go to advanced.
and there should be an option saying let other connection use this connection.
click that then put a crossopver cable into the ethernet port in the backup of your comp.
then launch internet explorer and then turn your xbox on and it should work

In case you didn't read the thread, I can't do ICS, because my router takes up where the ICS needs to go, thanks anyways though. I'll see if I can change my router to 168.192.0.2 or something

Alright so I set my router to 192.168.0.2 but ICS still says that a LAN connection is taking up the IP Adress.
Any suggestions?

on your router you should be abal to change the default gateway.
chagne that to 192.168.1.1 then do the ics.
and assign a static ip to that ethernet adapter.

Hello. Here's what I do: I didn't touch the settings and just unplugged the ethernet cable that goes into the modem from my pc and get the ethernet cable that came with my 360 and hook it up directly to the modem. Before I do this, I unplug the modem. When I'm done, I plug it back in. Works evertime. Hope this helps. Sounds like a pain, but it beats the hell out of buying that damn overpriced network adapter. Laters.

Just trying to help (give a little back). Everyone has the right to their input. I hardly ever post on this forum unless I think I can help; that's all. I definetely don't need your smart a$$ remarks. I appreciate all the help I've been given by you guys but I deserve respect like anyone else. Thanx for your time. Laters
