i have charter internet and i had a psp for a while and wanted to get it connection to the internet but i dont know how so please help

If your connection is wireless. When you open the internet browser and try to load a page, it should ask you to select a connection. If you dont have one set up (but do have a wireless connect) have the psp's wlan switch on, and click scan for connections. In order to browse the net, you must have a connect of 50% of higher. The you can save that connection and surf the net

i no it do wireless its connected to the cable and the computer...

and when i go to network connection and pick my connection it says ''A connection error has occurred.The attempt to obtain the IP address timed out.''

so what do i do now

ok but if i buy a router can i go on the internet??..and when i computer is off.can i still go on the internet on my psp...and can u go on this website and on myspace and other stuff
