Hey folks, hope someone could help me out with this.. so i got a new computer at an auction yesterday, one of them windoze yolks with vista.
Both are connected through a netgear router, xbox live works fine but i cant get it connected to the computer. it doesnt even find one when i press "connect to a windoz blah blah.."
however the xbox icon comes up (most of the time)in the network devices window but when i try the media sharing thing in media player the icon wont appear.. it only allows me to share media to other users of this pc... how can i get it to find my 360??

btw- in the network sharing centre network discovery is on, media sharing is on, file sharing is on, so is public folder sharing.

any help with the matter would be greatly appreciated, the whole thing is doin my head in..
