what were some of the games you couldnt run ? i was on 3.03oe-a before and went to 3.40oe-a..
apart from the first hiccup of not knowing i had to turn off NO-UMD all the games load up fine ?
i had to recover back to 1.5 due to an accidental flash, but i found i had to manually put the 150.PBP which had to be renamed UPDATE.PBP into the recovery folder for it to flash back to firmware 1.50.
i tried using the 303.PBP and 310.PBP as the updates and they work too..

just downgrade it via the recovery menu ( hold R button whilst turning on your psp ) ..
but you need to put in the 150.pbp ( which you need to rename as UPDATE.PBP into the /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY folder for this to work.
in the recovery menu is an option to DISABLE NO UMD.. make sure its off..
then in advanced, advanced configuration turn off the last 2 options, you should be able to run your game now.. well i hope so

Recovering back to 1.5
Download the pre made recovery folder Here
1. Boot into recovery mode and enable USB
2. Open the downloaded recovery150.rar and copy the RECOVERY folder to X:\PSP\GAME\
3. Exit USB and run "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP"
4. Follow the on screen directions
5. You now have a fully working 1.5 PSP

yea i am still in 3.40 oe a. I downgraded and ugraded back to 3.40 oe like 6 times in a row and it seemed to work. now every single game that i put on my psp works. Also i went into recovery and disables the Execute Boot.Bin in UMD/ISO and Use isofs driver also in UMD. Now everything on my psp works.

What version do you have. If you want on the recovery hold down the power button until your psp turns off on its own then turn it back on holding down the R button you will now be in RECOVERY.

Ok, all the people who are worrying about bricks with OE.
Don't.
Brick only happens when you mess around with flash0 memory (stores firmware information inside your psp, it's NOT your memory stick duo). That ONLY happens when you upgrade, downgrade, or change custom themes/icon. The recovery menu allows you to recover from a brick (assume your recovery menu is still intact inside flash0). As long as you don't touch your flash0 while in recovery, there is zero chance of bricking.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...
