If that is a linksys WRT54G, know this is not psp stuff, but that model has bugs and limitations. First off the newer models have had there bios size cut from 4MB to 2MB, so you cant put custom firmware to fix the following problem =

It firmware is borked. If you use torrents, it basically track all the connection data coming in and going out of the router... you cant turn this off and it just clogs up on all the information... at that point your download speeds will continue to decline. The server will try to boot it self every now and then, until it becomes unresponsive and you have to pull its plug to reset it.

Just to add, i have one of those. Gone over all the options. If you want a example, my download speeds is about 1.3MB/second normally, with the modem in between (be it wireless or connected with a cable, its hits about 400 and starts quickly going down.)

Sorry m8, I'm simply not a Wireless router expert, just know you will probably be better off in the long run if you staying away from Linksys products. Most of there products that i have read about appear to have some sort of performance issues... (Alto there user interfaces are fairly good)...

Check around different reviews or check out forums that specialize on routers. Google is your friend :)
