If I had a dollar for every time some one asked, ''Which is better? PS3 or 360?'', I'd be the richest human being in the universe. So, I'm gonna show all WHO is clearly the better Next-Gen supremacy. Here we go!
**ROUND 1**
GUI (Graphical User Interface)
The PS3's GUI is based on the PSP's trademark XrossMediaBar (XMB). It is very easy to toggle through different settings and stuff with the XMB.
PS3 XMB:
Oooh, pretty.
In the XMB, you can access your friends list, settings, videos, picz, games, and more.
Now, it's time for the 360's GUI.
Hmmm...pretty eyecatching.
The 360's Dashboard is a nice, sleek way to get through things. It does a comparable job to the PS3's XMB. It's a nice way to find things.
SOOOOO...that's the end of Round 1. In my opinion, I think the PS3's XMB is better, and more easy to use, PS3: 1, 360: 0.
**ROUND 2**
Online Community & Online Gameplay
The PS3's online community is called, "The PLAYSTATION Network". It's not as good as Xbox Live, but hey, at least online gameplay with the PS3 is free. 360 online gameplay is not free.

So, in short, the 360's Online Community, Xbox Live, is better than the PS3's online community, PlayStation Network, yet online gaming with the PS3 is free.

**ROUND 3**
Features
Both Next-Gen consoles offer a wide variety of features. The PS3 has to offer a lot, such as a web browser, Remote Play with a PSP, and an upgradable HDD. 360 falls short of these features. The 360's HDD is NOT upgradable. The PS3, on the other hand, would accept any 2.5" HDD.
You'd think with the 360 Elite, there would be a built-in HD-DVD drive. But no, still a standard DVD drive.

PS3 has a built-in Blu-ray drive, the next generation DVD format. 360 game dics cannot hold as much as a PS3 disc. A PS3 disc can hold currently up to 50GB of data. (Potentially 200GB).
360 has some nice features the PS3 dosen't have.
But, the PS3 has FW updates, which adds new features. 360, does not.
For WLAN, 360 requires and external WLAN adapter. PS3 has WLAN built right in.

**ROUND 4**
Hardware
So many arguments about which one has the better graphics, so little time.
Recently, GameSpot.com did a Grapics comparison. PS3 and 360 graphics are similar, but the 360's graphics are slightly better.
The 360's CPU has three cores, clocking at 3.2GHz. The PS3's cell processor has only one core, but makes up with 8 SPEs (Technically 7, since one is not used). It also clocks at 3.2GHz.
But, technically, the 360's CPU is more powerful.
PS3-3, 360-2.
AND THE WINNER IS...THE PS3!!!!!!

I hope people can be mature enough to just let him has his opinion. I think PS3 is better too, but i don't flame people. But you did leave out the games...so far 360 has more games out, but PS3 i think will blow it away by Christmas 2008.

The XBox better have more games!!! It had a head start considering the console came out almost a year before the PS3 did. Not sure on the actual time between releases. But get this.....COrrect me if Im wrong..... But remember when the Xbox first came out? I think I recall that it only had 9 or fewer games out on release date. And every body was trippen over that. They cant trip now ,cuz YES.... the 360 does have more games than the PS3 at this present time.
Why does every 360 Junky has so much to say about the XBOX like it has an expansion slop to fit his male part in, and bashes the PS3 like its an empty box of plastic. But almost all PS3 Junkies, still give the XboX credit for what it can do over the PS3. There is this guy who works at a Gamestop who says that the PS3 will most likely be discontinued. Ofcoarse a guy who works at a gamestop for a secondary or priamry means of living is an idiot in my opinion ....... We will all see in the near or not so distant future. ANd I wont Mention

Sorry, but i don't agree with ur statement on ps3 owners giving the 360 any cred at all. any ps3 owner i know, slates the 360. it reminds me of the Nintendo vs. Sega wars on the ninties.

I have a 360 and every game that has come out.. unfortunately, there are no real good games. (That are only for the xbox)
Only real good game was Dead Rising.
some might say Gears of War... while i found the game play to be entertaining the lack of content was quite disappointing. Beat the ame with about 4 hours of gameplay. Not enough.
But i mean... what else was really really good? meh nothing.

In response i don't own a PS3 but own a 360... and its probably the worst system i've ever had. I don't play it at all... if it didn't steam media from my PC (which for some reason it stopped doin) i would use it to hold my door open.

Games: Yes there may not be alot of good games but how many did the xbox360 have at release?... 0. Every system needs time to get good games.
Price: While quite expensive very good price for what u get. Its basically a computer.
Online: Free.. in my opinion free is better.
BlueRay: BlueRay > DVD nuffsaid.
Exclusivity: I guess you got me there... if MS didn't have such Deep pockets we wouldn't be having this convo.
Xbox Live: I would not consider any amount a month a small fee. quite expensive in my eyes for a service that should be free.

I don't see how im a fanboy. I don't own a PS3 i actually own a Xbox360 over a PS3. And i apologize about the wrong price i got confused i was thinking of WoW instead. For that i was wrong. HOWEVER> its still more then PS3.
