hi i have a 1.5firmware psp and im a sort of noob, what are the chances of bricikng if i wanna use 3.40 0-EA?

follow the instructions and you'll be fine. it's also better to use the easy installer if you're new at this.

Simply put, nothing is 100% sure in life m8. If you follow the instructions to the letter, then you chance of bricking is really small.

Just use the winstaller. The link is in my profile. Then you don't really gotta worry about anything screwing up as far as copying the files onto your PSP.

it's possible to brick your psp no matter what, but as long as you follow the instructions and do things correctly, the chances of bricking are minimized. we all didn't start with knowing how to do everything straight away, just try it and learn from your mistake. i use easy installer as my start after i downgraded from 2.71 to 1.50. Good luck.

Ya man sorry i was just angry because my GF is a huge psycho and is really crazy so ya just read the readme and Do everything right and yull be fine. One thing is 100% in life though...Sony will never like downgradeing and wil always combat aganst it.
