I have looked through the forum but cant find something related to this update which would explain my questions.

1. I have connected the ps3 to Windows media player 11 by enabling sharing.

Since the PS3 only sees mp4 titles for video and WMP11 doest see these as video files and as such doesnt add them to the video library how do i see them on the ps3. Has anyone managed? Does someone have an mp4 codec for WMP11?

2. What are the correct settings for the upscallers for the PS2 and DVD? There are a few options here....(From memory double full screen)
