D-Box Help needed

I am trying to set a sagem dbox2. I flashed the box with the commando 7 firmware. I have set the box to where i live and done a full scan brute force. I have the free to air and radio channels but when i select a channel like sky sports 1 i just get a black screen and the bar at the bottom has a yellow key. Are the channels locked and if so how do i unlock em.

I think commando 7.5 was the first comm image to have the keys removed .If there are no keys in your image you will only get free to air channels like you are .Were comm 6 has the keys installed already
You can get the keys from a working image and put them in your self if your up to it have a read up mate .....Paul,

Hi people i still can't get any channels like sky sports only fta. I have ftp'd the keys to the dbox2 and set them to 755. but all i get is a black screen and the yellow key at the bottom of the screen. anyone know what cxould be wrong.

Try this
Dbox,settings,softcam/ucode/nagra rom-active softcam enable it
then nagra rom status and check they are enabled.
Then go s*y sports 1
Bbc1
S*y sports 1 and wait 5 mins .....Paul

On your remote push D boe
scroll to settings
Look for cams push ok
softcam/ucode/nagra rom-active softcam enable it
then nagra rom status and check they are enabled.

in ucode there is vortex,bulltin,001a,0013,0014,00f0,00f1.
in emu there is newcam,mgcam,evocam.
in nagra rom menu there is rom3 active,rom7 active,rom10 active,rom11 active.
can't find any softcam anywhere

Just change the cams around try each one mate give it 5 mins to clear and try the next one.......Paul

I am trying to reflash my dbox2 with ifa but it won't flash. Here is what i did.
[1] I specifed the image i wanted to use.
[2] Selected my network card.
[3] Selected yes to nullmodem cable as i am useing one.
[4] I press start and turn my my dbox on.
[5] Ifa drops to the bottom of the comport of the dbox comes up saying BOOTTP/TFTP bootstrap loader (v0.3), debug:, debug: transmitting BOOTTP request via broadcast, debug: Guven up BOOTTP/TFTP boot, boot net failed, boot: elfcopy failed: 16 and more of the same. On the dbox screen it just shows the screen your box shows when you turn it on.

Make sure all your fire walls are off
When switched on at the wall if it dont say flashing within 10 secs knock it off and back on at the wall it may take an hour but it will go .......Paul

i am using a laptop as i only have vista 64 ultimate on my pc and i am using version 2.3 and tried earlyer verion as well.
