I need someone to help me unlock the following model/phone. I got it from my cousin who lives in the UK. The phone was being used originally in the UK (service provider O2), but if possible I would like to use it with T-mobile in the U.S.

Model: Nokia 6230i,
IMEI: 353948/01/042197/5

I'm new at this forum and hoping I'm posting this thread in the right place/way.

Thank you for the reply. Sadly, it didn't work. I entered the code without putting the SIM card in from the "Insert SIM" screen. It said "code error". I did double check to ensure I had keyed in the correct code.

Initially, when I got the phone I put my own T-mobile SIM and powered on it said "Restriction code". Below that there was an "UNDO" option.

Anything else you might suggest?
