i have a ta-079, and my fw is 2.82 official sony. I also have midnight club 3 dub edition. Now, mid club 3 has 1.5 updater. My question is.. will this downgrade my fw or will it brick my psp?

If it was that easy then what would be the point of a Downgrader? If a retail Sony game came with a downgrader on it why would people think it's such a hassle? Well, the answer is no it wont do either, it will say that there's no need to update, your software is v. 2.82

search for a downgrader if you need to you can update to 303 and use that to downgrade but that game wont help you. you need the unpatched gta umd. good luck
