Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying an xbox 360 but before I do can someone please help:

I know that I can play an HD DVD Movie using the xbox HD DVD player that connects to a 360 unit (Or a Computer). I have about 20 HD DVD movies on a 500 Gig external hard drive which were put on there using HDAnyDVD.
Is it possible to connect this hard drive using(USB 2)and play back the movies on the 360 unit.

Can some one please help me on this. (Thanks in advance to you all)

This seems to be a very complicated.

I dont want to convert any files. These are in HD DVD format as per the original HD-DVD.

Any one else done this yet.

you can stream them with media center from your computer, or if they are in the right format you can play them from the hard drive. they have to be .wmv to be played from the hard drive unless they recently changed things with the new update.

maybe try Transcode360 or TVersity i haven't messed with those but pretty sure your going to have to encode on some level
