hi my psp is bricked if i send it back to sony is there any way of them findingt out i was upgrading from 1.5 to 3.4 O-EA, or is a modcip my best option

well you already voided your warrenty so they wont do anything about it. A modchip is your best option but they are expensive and expensive to install.

Your best bet would be to ebay a 1.50 FW PSP.

No, they won't know. Unless you opened up the seal, they won't know it's been modded. At most, they will just charge you $70 or $90 for a motherboard replacement.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe

sony will fix it unless the seal is broken.
or .... walmart. I took back a ps2 that i botched a modchip in and they just made sure the serial # matched the box.
sony wont harrass walmart cause they dont want to lose that market.

my friend bricked his while doing a lagit updat and onec while downgrading both times he just tols sony that he was updating and he droped it and the battery came out . they repaird both psp without charge. so if you havent broken the warenty seall take sony for a ride.
